Approximately 1200 Customers Without Power in the North Medford Area

Pacific Power is currently aware of a power outage in the north Medford area. As of 10:30a, there are a total of approximately 1200 customers without service.

Pacific Power reports they have crews on scene working on the outage. The cause of the outage listed as “under investigation.” Pacific Power estimates time for service recovery to be around 2:00p.

This outage is impacting the area around North Fred Meyer and Poplar Square. An earlier call for service was due to a damaged power line near Morrow and Poplar.

Medford Alert will continue to monitor this outage and provide updates as they become available.


12:15P Update: 200 customers in the area currently remain without power.


FINAL UPDATE: Power has been fully restored to affected customers.
