Shooting Reported Near Buffalo Wild Wings in NE Medford

Here is the latest on this developing incident.

At approximately 11:25p on Friday night, multiple Medford Police (MPD) and Jackson County Sheriff’s (JCSO) units responded to a reported shooting at Buffalo Wild Wings in northeast Medford.

Medford Fire (MFD) and Mercy Flights (MFI) also were dispatched to the scene to assist.

There was one reported individual transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. The victim was apparently located outside, on the north side of the restaurant.

MPD conducted a felony stop on one vehicle that was believed involved in the incident. The vehicle was eventually stopped on Bullock Road.

Unconfirmed that police have recovered at least two handguns from the inside of the stopped vehicle. Four individuals were detained by authorities at this time. At least two of the subjects are believed to be a minors.

Medford Alert has confirmed with an on-scene MPD Detective that this was not an Officer Involved Shooting.

There is not believed to be any threat to the community at this time.
