Task Force Uncovers Child Exploitation Images at Phoenix Home

In a coordinated effort, the Southern Oregon Child Exploitation Team (SOCET) joint inter-agency task force executed a search warrant this morning at a residence located in the 400 block of 5th Street in Phoenix. The operation was initiated following the discovery of numerous images of child exploitation uploaded from the targeted residence.

SOCET, comprising law enforcement agencies such as the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, Medford Police Department, Phoenix Police Department, and Southern Oregon High Tech Crimes Task Force (SOHTCTF), worked collaboratively in executing the warrant.

Detectives are currently interviewing potential witnesses and involved parties as investigations unfold.

Digital devices seized during the operation will undergo thorough forensic examination by the SOHTCTF, aiming to uncover additional evidence related to child exploitation.

Authorities say this operation stemmed from a tip provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, triggering a sequence of legal actions, including subpoenas and culminating in the execution of the search warrant at the residence.
