UPDATE: Authorities say the road is now fully open.

Jackson County Roads reports that a motor vehicle crash has occurred on Dead Indian Memorial Road near Ashland.
The roadway is currently closed to all through traffic at approximately milepost 2.
Motorists should use alternate routes if possible and avoid the area through mid-day today.
