Grants Pass Police (GPPD) say that sometime between Monday, September 4th, and Tuesday, September 5th, unknown suspects brazenly entered the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) office located on NW Hawthorne Avenue in Grants Pass. The perpetrators made off with a haul of valuable items, leaving local authorities eager to track them down.
Among the items taken in the crime were numerous financial documents, gas cards, a check-writing machine, blank EBT cards, cell phones, an air scrubber, and a distinctive gold-colored Ford Escape belonging to the State of Oregon. The stolen Ford bore Oregon License E270376, a critical detail for identification.
Two of the suspects were caught on surveillance video using stolen cards at a Grants Pass gas station. While the images retrieved from the footage are of low resolution, their distinctive appearances offer a potential lead for law enforcement.

The Grants Pass Police Department is urging anyone with information related to the identity of the burglary suspects or the whereabouts of the stolen property, including the gold Ford Escape, to come forward. Officer D. Evans can be reached at 541-450-6260, and individuals should refer to case #23-37834 when providing information.
Authorities are advising the public to exercise caution if they encounter the suspects or the stolen vehicle. In such a situation, citizens are encouraged to immediately call 9-1-1 and avoid approaching the individuals themselves.
