The Central Point Planning Commission has announced that it will be holding a public hearing to discuss a Site Plan and Architectural Review (SPAR) application submitted by Cypress Acquisitions. The application seeks approval for the construction of a 17,300-square-foot supermarket, a 2,300-square-foot restaurant with drive-through facilities, and a 2,400-square-foot restaurant with drive-through facilities.

The proposed development is set to take place within the confines of a commercial shopping center located at the intersection of Table Rock and Biddle Road. The project site spans 2.73 acres and falls under the C-4 zoning district, designated for Tourist and Office-Professional purposes.
The public hearing, scheduled by the Central Point Planning Commission, aims to gather input from the community and relevant stakeholders regarding this development proposal. During the hearing, the Commission will thoroughly review the SPAR application, taking into consideration factors such as circulation, parking, landscaping, and architectural design. This rigorous assessment process ensures that the proposed development aligns with the city’s zoning regulations, building codes, and aesthetic standards.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the hearing and express their thoughts and concerns about the project. This serves as an opportunity for residents, businesses, and community organizations to voice their opinions and contribute to the decision-making process.
Once the public hearing is concluded, the Planning Commission will assess all relevant information, including public feedback, before making a final determination on the SPAR application. The decision will be based on the project’s compliance with the city’s development guidelines and the overall benefit it may bring to the community.
Medford Alert will continue to monitor this development and provide updates as the project advances.
