In a successful rescue operation, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies and Search and Rescue (SAR) personnel responded to a call for a lost hiker on Mt. McLoughlin last night. The incident unfolded at approximately 5 p.m., prompting an extensive search effort that lasted throughout the night.
Searchers combed the area, braving the challenging terrain and diminishing light, in an attempt to locate the individual. The dedicated team persevered, and their efforts paid off when they finally found the hiker around 1:30 a.m.
