The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person, Rene Salazar.
Rene, a 32-year-old Hispanic female, was last seen on foot in the 3000 block of Camp Joy Rd in Grants Pass at approximately 11:00 am on June 17, 2023.
At the time of her disappearance, Rene was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with “search and rescue” written on it, dark grey yoga pants, and was barefoot. She has brown hair, brown eyes, stands at 5’04” tall, and weighs approximately 160 lbs.
Authorities have not determined the direction of Rene’s travel at this time. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 541-474-5123, and reference case number 23-15371 when providing information.
It is important to note that if you do locate Rene Salazar, authorities say do not confront her directly. Instead, call 911 immediately and provide the necessary information to the emergency dispatcher.
