All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 remain closed at mile point 11 due to a vehicle fire.
The expected duration of the closure has been extended. Multiple emergency agencies are still on scene.
Motorists are able to detour at Exit 6 and follow Siskiyou Highway (OR-273) to Greensprings Highway (OR-66) to Exit 14.
Use caution and expect congestion in the area.
8:50P Update: Traffic is now moving in one northbound lane of Interstate 5. The roadway was closed at mile point 11 following a vehicle fire. Expect congestion; watch for workers along the roadway.
