The Expo in Central Point is buzzing with excitement as preparations for the highly anticipated Rogue Music Festival (RMF) are in full swing. Set to take place on June 16-17, 2023, this inaugural event promises to be a spectacular experience for music lovers. The festival boasts an impressive lineup of performers, including country music sensations Carrie Underwood and Eric Church, along with several other talented artists.
With an estimated 15,000+ concertgoers expected each night, organizers are working tirelessly to ensure that every detail is meticulously planned. Today was the first day of preparations that focused on building the stage and getting the grounds ready for the upcoming festivities. Construction crews and event staff can be seen bustling about, setting up equipment, preparing thousands of seat deliveries, and creating a vibrant atmosphere that will captivate festival-goers.
Carrie Underwood, known for her powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, is sure to deliver an unforgettable performance. With hit songs like “Before He Cheats” and “Cry Pretty,” fans can expect an evening filled with chart-topping hits and heartfelt ballads. Eric Church, a renowned country artist with a unique blend of rock and traditional influences, is bound to bring his signature energy and raw talent to the stage, leaving the audience craving for more.
As the first-ever Rogue Music Festival, this event marks a significant milestone for The Expo and the surrounding Rogue Valley. It showcases the area’s growing reputation as a hub for live music and entertainment. Beyond the thrilling performances, the festival promises an immersive experience with food vendors, beer gardens, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
“It’s too hard to explain the magnitude of anticipation this team has today as we get to see the pieces coming together” Director Helen Baker told Medford Alert today.
“Today the footprint became real. From ideas to drawings and now building the front of house sound and light tower! We are excited to see it coming together FINALLY”
Baker continued, “Big thing is to get folks to get their wristbands AHEAD of time so they don’t have to stand in line to get them at the event.”
RMF staff will be at Travel Medford 10-2p tomorrow and Sunday and next week will have a satellite office at the top of Pine & Peninger at the Expo lot there. Open 12-6p Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday the office will be open 12-9p.
As the preparations for the Rogue Music Festival continue, excitement and anticipation build, with music enthusiasts eagerly counting down the days until they can immerse themselves in the magic of live performances, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
