Flash Flood Watch Issued for Areas of Siskiyou County

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Central and Western Siskiyou County.

The Flash Flood Watch is active from 2p today until 11p tonight. The area is mostly within the McKinny Fire burn scar.

Flood Watch: Be Prepared: A Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for a specific hazardous weather event to occur. A Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding. It does not mean flooding will occur, but it is possible.
