Arrest Made in Klamath Falls Shooting Investigation

This is an update to our previous article regarding this incident.

On Thursday, May 18, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Klamath Falls Police Department detectives developed probable cause to arrest a person believed responsible for the shooting that occurred in downtown Klamath Falls yesterday. Detectives went to the subject’s last known address to contact him with negative results.

While surveilling the residence, the subject was seen leaving the area and getting into a car. Detectives followed the car to the Gulf Gas Station located at 2075 Oregon Avenue in Klamath Falls and the subject was taken into custody without further incident.

The subject was identitied as Gabriel A. Jenesse, 29 years of age. He was lodged at the Klamath County Jail for unlawful use of a weapon and reckless endangering.

A criminal complaint is only an accusation of a crime, and a suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
