Multiple Medford Police (MPD) officers and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies, including SWAT, K9, and Drone Teams on the scene of a standoff on the 900 block of Siskiyou Blvd.
Police are keeping the media and witnesses far away from the building complex that it is taking place in. Several surrounding buildings in the complex have also been evacuated as a precaution.
Witnesses told Medford Alert that they heard what they believed were gunshots prior to police arriving. Officials have not confirmed any shooting at this time.
Police are currently trying to communicate with the suspect via loud horn.

2:35p Update: Police have issued a Code 4. There is no continued community threat. Mercy Flights ambulance personnel were summoned to the scene, but were told to cancel.
