RCC Foundation Hosting Student Scholarship Fundraiser

Community members are invited to shop and support the RCC Foundation student scholarship fundraising event, hosted by AAWCC-RCC.

The Jackson County fundraising event will be held at the RCC Riverside Campus (RVC) April 18 and 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Room 126 of the Higher Education Center at 101 S. Bartlett St., in Medford. The Josephine County fundraising event will be held at the RCC Redwood Campus (RWC) on April 19 and 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center (adjacent to the Café), 3345 Redwood Highway in Grants Pass.

Celebrating the spirit of Earth Day, buyers may purchase clean and gently worn clothing and accessories for men, women and children of all ages that were donated by members of the community.

Clean clothing and accessory donations are also sought and are tax-deductible through the RCC Foundation and accepted up through April 18. Items may be dropped off during business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at the following locations: Redwood Campus: Pam Green, TRIO-SSS office, L Building, 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass; Higher Education Center (HEC): Rose Passione, HEC, Room 102E, Medford; Table Rock Campus: Carmen Mons, Dental Assisting office, C building, Room 161, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City.

Volunteers to help with the event are also welcome. The association seeks assistance from college students, employees and community members. Help is needed to set up the sale items before the sale, the day of the sale, during the sale to upkeep the donation tables and following the sale to pack up leftovers for donation to the Gospel Rescue Mission. Contact event coordinator Angel Woods for more information at: AWoods@roguecc.edu or 541-956-7411.

AAWCC-RCC has continued contributions to student scholarships and programs annually since 2006 and offer their full appreciation for the support received throughout the years from the community.
