Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Through Wednesday Morning

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM WEDNESDAY ABOVE 1000 FEET

  • WHAT…Snow above 1000 feet. Additional snow accumulations of up to 3 inches. Accumulations will be highest in the higher terrain of Curry and Josephine counties, including the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. Most of the area will receive up to an inch of new snow tonight, but the larger impact will be from the freezing of wet roads.
  • WHERE…Curry County Coast, Central Douglas County, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills and Jackson County.
  • WHEN…Until 4 AM Wednesday.
  • IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
  • Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
  • Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities.
  • A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties.
