On January 25th, 2023 at 10:44 a.m., 9-1-1 received a call of a bank robbery at the Washington Federal Bank in Cave Junction. It was reported, 2 males in white sweatshirts and masks fled on foot from the bank after taking an undisclosed amount of money from a teller.
Two deputies arrived in the area at 10:46 a.m. A vehicle description and picture were obtained from witnesses and provided to the responding units.
At 10:57 a.m., a responding unit located the vehicle on Redwood Highway travelling towards Selma. The vehicle was stopped near Gold Canyon and all three occupants were taken into custody without incident. Hwy 199 was closed for a short time during the stop.
The occupants were identified as William Glenn, Patrick Hirt and Carol Evans-West.
All three subjects were lodged at the Josephine County Jail for the listed charges.

Carol Evans-West, 61 years old

William Glenn: Robbery II, Theft III, Probation Violation
Patrick Hirt: Robbery II, Theft III
Carol Evans-West: Robbery II, Theft III, Probation Violation
All suspects are considered innocent until any/all charges are proven true against them in a court of law.
