New Building and Parking Garage Planned for RVTD Campus

On December 21st, Medford Planning officials will hear a proposal by the Rogue Valley Transportation Department (RVTD), regarding their latest planned project.

The proposal is for the construction of a two-story, 10,000 square foot office building to serve as RVTD’s transportation building on a single parcel totaling approximately 1.34 acres.

The property is located east of Crater Lake Avenue. and is fronted by Forest Hills Drive along its southerly boundary. This is an area of undeveloped land just to the east of the RVTD bus house and current campus.

The plans also call for a two-level parking garage with the possibility of adding solar panels to the second floor at a later date.

If approved, the project is scheduled to break ground in Spring of 2023, as long as market conditions remain similar.

Medford Alert will continue to monitor this project and provide updates as they become available.
