Multi-Vehicle Crash Impacting Traffic on Biddle Road

A motor vehicle accident has occurred near the intersection of Hamrick Road and Pine Street in Central Point.

Oregon State Police (OSP), Medford Police (MPD), Central Point Police (CPPD), Fire District 3 (JCFD3), Medford Fire (MFD), and Mercy units all originally responded to the crash.

Area of Crash

Officials ask motorists to avoid the area if possible and expect congestion in nearby areas.

Radio traffic confirmed that a patient was trapped inside one of the vehicle involved. A JCFD3 heavy rescue unit extricated the individual who was conscious and breathing at the time of rescue. They were taken to a nearby Medford area hospital via Mercy ambulance. Their condition is unknown at this time. One of the vehicles involved was a UPS truck that sustained heavy damage. The UPS drivers condition is unknown at this time.
