South Medford High School Lockdown Lifted After False Threat

At 12:03 p.m. Medford Police Officers responded to a report of an active shooter at South Medford High School.

The school was put on temporary lockdown and students have now returned to class.

Following a quick response and thorough search of the building the Officers determined the report to be false and there is no active threat.

Medford Alert will continue to monitor this incident and provide further information as it becomes available.
