At 1p today, multiple Medford Fire (MFD) and Medford Police (MPD) units responded to a possible structure fire call on the 500 block of N.Front Street. Upon arrival, smoke was visible coming from behind a commercial building.
Medford Fire units requested additional MPD officers to the scene as it was suspicious in nature. MFD was attempting to make sure the fire did not spread to the roof of the structure.
N. Front Street is currently closed between Jackson and 3rd Street.
1:30p UPDATE: Fire is out, was next to the building along the tracks. MPD is searching for a male who was seen in the area of the fire when it started.
