At approximately 3:05p today, three Medford Fire units were dispatched to 1179 Stowe Avenue, in northwest Medford, for a reported vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, fire personnel came upon a fully engulfed RV parked on the westside of Stowe Ave near the Bottle Redemption Center entrance.
Several bystanders attempted to assist with fire extinguishers but the fire was too intense.
Firefighters worked the incident for about 70 minutes before clearing the scene. The fire was contained to the RV.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. It is believed that the RV is a total loss.
