UPDATE: Officials say Mr. Mortensen was located alive & well in Washington State. No additional information is available.
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for assistance in locating an unaccounted for person.
Stanley Mortensen, of Klamath River, has been unaccounted for since the McKinney Fire began on July 29th. Officials say his home was destroyed in the fire and he was last seen at a shelter.
Authorities say Mortensen is 80 years old and was last seen in the Klamath River area. The Siskiyou County Sheriffs Office is asking for the assistance of the public in locating Mortensen.
