A Cooling Shelter will be opening today, Monday July 11th in Ashland.
The Shelter will be located in the Guanajuato Room of the Ashland Public Library located at 410 Siskiyou Blvd. in Ashland.
The Cooling Shelter will be open from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. Service animals will be allowed but must be kept on leashes.
The shelter will be staffed by community volunteers who have requested that guests be mindful of other’s health needs, therefore masks will be provided on site. Organizers say donations of water are welcomed and will be accepted at the shelter location during hours of operation.
