ODF UPDATE: The fire has been named the Jack Creek Fire. It is now 100% wet lined and all active fire has been knocked down. A 15-person ODF crew is en route to assist firefighters in mopping up. Additional information will be posted only if the incident status changes significantly.
ODF firefighters are responding to a fire east of Hugo. Officials currently have one engine on scene and additional resources en route.
It’s currently estimated to be a quarter-acre in size. This fire is burning on BLM Oregon & Washington land.
ODF states there are currently no structures threatened. Authorities say the cause of the fire will be under investigation.
