UPDATE: Service has been fully restored to affected customers.
Pacific Power is responding to a large scale power outage in the south Ashland area.
Currently, approximately 1630 customers are without power. First report was just after 12:00p today.
Crews believe it to be an issue with a nearby substation. Estimated time of service restoration is before 2:30p today.
Medford Alert will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
