Earlier today, IVFD, AMR and the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a flue fire with possible spread at the 7200 block of Holland Loop Road.
Arriving units found smoke coming from the attic area and around the flue in the rear of the structure. After some investigation it was found that there was no spread to the attic area.
The wall around the flue was removed to be sure there was no spread.
Rural Metro Fire – Josephine County moved up to cover the Illinois Valley while this call was active.
All units are clear. Fire is under investigation.
