The Medford Market Street Severe Weather Shelter will be open due to the current weather conditions. The City is closely monitoring weather conditions as necessary.
Severe Event Shelter Location and Information:
Navigation Center located at 685 Market Street. The shelter will be open 4/14 – 4/16 during the hours of 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m. Services will be provided by ACCESS
Shelter will be first-come-first served and provide meals, bedding, and dry storage.
The City has been working with community service providers to develop the framework for opening a severe event shelter and relies on those organizations who have the tools and expertise to staff the shelter. It is the City’s responsibility to monitor forecasted weather conditions, coordinate with service providers to determine staffing ability and if staffing is available, declare a severe event.
