Central Point Police announced that after a lengthy investigation into an earlier bank robbery in the city, the suspect has been apprehended.
During the investigation of this case, CPPD Detectives were able to determine the same suspect committed subsequent bank robberies in Redding, CA and Yuba City, CA.
Local authorized, working in collaboration with outside Departments, Detectives were able to identify the suspect along with his vehicle information.
Using this information, on 1/28/22 the suspect, 52 year old Thomas James West, was located with his vehicle in Las Vegas, NV and he was arrested by Las Vegas Metro PD.
The successful identification and arrest of Thomas West was made possible by many days of hard work by the Central Point Detectives and their successful collaboration with the Redding and Yuba City Police Departments, as well as the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon.
