Here is a feel good story of local agencies working together to rescue a group of dogs and reunite them with their owner.
Jackson County Animal Services had the opportunity to assist Jackson County Search & Rescue this week in rescuing four dogs that had been left stranded up at a very remote location beyond Elderberry Flats Campground in Rogue River.
Due to recent weather the location was covered in a large amount of snow & the dog owner had already been evacuated for medical assistance.
With the help of a snow cat & the Jackson County Sheriff Search and Rescue team, Jackson County Animal Services secured the dogs and brought them back to the shelter in order to be reunited with their owner.
