November 4th, 2021 at about 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Smokethorn Way, for a reported shooting.
One of the involved parties had called 911 to report they had shot their significant other, during a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers found the individual was beyond help, and appeared to suffer from a gunshot wound.
The case remains under investigation and no suspects are outstanding.
The names of the involved parties, including the decedent, are not being disclosed pending next of kin notification.
No arrests have been made at this time.
