ASHLAND, Ore. (Nov. 6, 2026) — Two women were arrested Friday after law enforcement officers executed search warrants at an Ashland massage parlor and a neighboring residence as part of an investigation into alleged illicit activity and possible human trafficking.
Members of the Ashland Police Department, along with investigators from the Oregon Department of Justice, Oregon State Police, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Grants Pass Police Department and the Oregon Board of Massage, executed a search warrant Nov. 6 at 99 China massage parlor, located at 290 N. Main St. in Ashland.
A second search warrant was executed at a residence immediately next door at 254 N. Main St., according to the Ashland Police Department.
The investigation began in August 2026 after police received complaints about possible illicit activity at the business, including concerns about potential human trafficking.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Division spent the past three months investigating the allegations before obtaining and executing the search warrants, police said.
Two female employees of the business were arrested and lodged in jail on charges related to operating a massage parlor without the required licenses.
Police said the identities of the arrested women had not been established at the time of the department’s announcement.
The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to collect evidence. Additional information may be released as the investigation progresses, according to police.
Authorities have not announced any additional charges or confirmed whether the investigation has substantiated the initial human trafficking concerns.
