MEDFORD, Ore. (Feb. 5, 2026) — Residents may notice a new look on Medford Police Department patrol vehicles around town as the agency rolls out a redesigned exterior aimed at improving sustainability and maintenance efficiency while preserving traditional police colors.
Police officials said the updated design blends the department’s longstanding blue color scheme with a more modern appearance and is being implemented as part of the city’s regular fleet maintenance and replacement cycle, not as a special or accelerated purchase program.

Several of the newly styled vehicles are already in service, with additional units expected to join the fleet in the coming months, officials said.
The department said the changes are intended to reduce upkeep costs over time while maintaining visibility and professionalism on the streets.
