Central Oregon Baseball Coach Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Minor

BEND, Ore. (Nov 18, 2025) — Detectives with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 22-year-old La Pine woman on Friday in connection with a months-long investigation into alleged sexual encounters with a minor, officials said.

Sierra Stigall was taken into custody on Nov. 14 following an interview with investigators, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies said the alleged crimes occurred between May and July of this year.

Authorities emphasized that Stigall was not employed by the Bend-La Pine School District at the time of the alleged offenses. However, she had been involved in coaching a U14 traveling baseball team in the La Pine area, investigators said.

Stigall was booked into the Deschutes County Jail on multiple felony charges, including five counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree sodomy, eight counts of second-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree rape, two counts of luring a minor, and one count of first-degree online sexual corruption of a child.

Detectives said they have no information indicating additional victims but encouraged anyone with relevant information to contact the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.
