
MEDFORD, Ore. (Nov 15, 2025)— Two people were arrested Saturday evening after a shooting outside the OK Market on North Riverside Avenue, Medford police said.
At approximately 5:19 p.m., officers responded to the store at 1192 N. Riverside Avenue for “a report of a disturbance and information that an individual had been shot.” Police said officers arrived within minutes, located the wounded victim and provided immediate medical aid. Additional units secured the area and broadcast suspect information.
Preliminary details indicate the suspects and the victim exchanged words moments before the shooting. Police said the suspects then left the area in a vehicle, but patrol officers located them shortly afterward in the surrounding neighborhood.
According to the department, both individuals were cooperative and were taken into custody without incident.
Detectives remained on scene Saturday evening as the investigation continued. “Additional updates will be shared as they become available,” police said.
Medford Police released the following update on Nov 16, 2025:
The driver, Osbaldo Rodriguez, 25, was later charged with DUll and lodged at the jail.
The passenger, Juan Carlos Rodriguez, 47, was identified as the shooter and lodged on charges of Assault in the First Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
