23-Year-Old Woman Dies in Rollover Crash Near Grants Pass

Grants Pass, Oregon- A 23-year-old woman was killed Wednesday evening in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Grants Pass, authorities said.

The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded at approximately 5:45 p.m. to a crash in the 1100 block of Jaynes Drive. Rural Metro Fire also responded and located the wreckage of a single vehicle that had rolled over and come to rest on its driver’s side.

The sole occupant, identified as Angelina Marie Odell, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said Odell had been driving on Jaynes Drive toward New Hope Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

Odell’s next of kin have been notified, officials said. No other vehicles were involved.

The sheriff’s office said no further details will be released at this time.
