Two Teens Among Suspects Arrested in Grants Pass Knife-Point Robbery

Grants Pass, Oregon- Three suspects, including two juveniles, were arrested Thursday following an armed robbery involving a teenage victim in Grants Pass, authorities said.

Grants Pass Police responded around 5:24 p.m. to the 1200 block of Rogue River Highway after receiving reports of a robbery involving a knife. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy who said he had been attacked while attempting to sell clothing items through Facebook Marketplace.

According to police, a 14-year-old suspect held a knife to the victim’s throat and punched him in the face while a 20-year-old and another 15-year-old suspect stole the items. All three suspects fled the scene on foot.

Police later arrested Aiden Steven McCarroll, 20, of Grants Pass. He was booked into the Josephine County Jail on charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, third-degree assault, and second-degree theft. The two juvenile suspects were lodged at the Josephine County Juvenile Justice Center on the same charges. Their names were not released due to their ages.
