Grants Pass Stabbing Leaves Victim with Life-Threatening Injuries

Grants Pass, Oregon– stabbing incident reported Wednesday evening in Grants Pass is under investigation by local authorities.

At approximately 9:31 p.m. on April 23, 2025, a male adult called 9-1-1 to report being stabbed during an argument in the 1700 block of SW G Street. Emergency personnel from Grants Pass Police, Grants Pass Fire & Rescue, and American Medical Response responded to the scene and provided medical assistance.

The victim was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was later transferred to Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford for a higher level of treatment and remains under close medical supervision.

The Grants Pass Major Crimes Unit has assumed responsibility for the investigation. The Josephine County Sheriff’s Office assisted in locating the adult male suspect near Merlin, Oregon. Authorities stated that the individuals involved were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The investigation is active, and no further information has been released at this time.
