RV Fire in White City Results in One Fatality, Two Dogs Lost

White City, Oregon- A fire in White City early Sunday morning resulted in one civilian fatality and the loss of two dogs, according to Jackson County Fire District 3.

Fire crews were dispatched at 7:32 a.m. on March 2 to reports of an RV fire on Quebec Circle. Firefighters arrived and worked to suppress the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to a nearby house.

Authorities confirmed that one person inside the RV did not survive. Two dogs also perished in the fire.

“The cause and origin of the fire will be under investigation,” the fire district stated. “We are coordinating with Jackson County Sheriff Oregon and have no further details for release at this time.”

No additional information about the victim has been released.
