Medford, Oregon– Dense fog in the Rogue Valley has led to significant disruptions in air travel at Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR). Most evening flights scheduled to arrive at the airport have either been canceled or diverted due to reduced visibility.
The disruptions have created a ripple effect, impacting early morning departures. Several early morning flights have been canceled or delayed as some aircraft were unable to reach MFR and park overnight.
Passengers are advised to check directly with their airline for the latest updates on flight schedules. Officials have not provided an estimate for when normal operations will resume, as the timing depends on weather conditions. Currently, conditions and visibility are expected to improve around Sunday afternoon.
Travelers are encouraged to monitor conditions closely and allow extra time for travel to and from the airport.
