Portland, Oregon- Portland Police have recovered a stolen Ferrari SF90 Spider Hybrid, valued at $900,000, and arrested a suspect in connection with the theft. The incident occurred in the Northwest District Neighborhood on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
At approximately 2:09 p.m., a Portland Police Public Safety Support Specialist (PS3) responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street. The vehicle’s owner, who was actively tracking its location, informed the PS3 that it was at Northwest 16th Avenue and Northwest Kearney Street.
Officers, including those participating in a Holiday Walking Beat, were dispatched to the area. They located the distinctive light green Ferrari parked at the reported location.
According to police, two individuals were seen leaving the vehicle. Officers pursued the suspects and apprehended them at Northwest 15th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street. After further investigation, one of the men, identified as 36-year-old Kevin John Miller, was determined to be the individual who had stolen the car.
Miller was taken into custody and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. He faces charges of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and an outstanding warrant.
The Ferrari was returned to its owner without damage. The Portland Police Bureau emphasized the coordinated effort between officers and the PS3 in swiftly resolving the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, but no further suspects are currently being sought.
