Dog of the Week: Well Behaved “Lucius”Seeks Home

Phoenix, Oregon- This week, the Medford Alert is featuring Lucius, a two-year-old male pit bull mix, possibly part boxer. Lucius has been in the care of the shelter for an extended period and has become well-known among staff and volunteers for his good behavior and friendly demeanor.

Lucius recently participated in an outreach event, where he was praised for his calm and gentlemanly conduct. He walks well on a leash and is already familiar with basic commands such as “sit” and “shake.” He is currently learning additional commands like “down” and “stay.” Lucius also enjoys running the agility course at the shelter’s play yard.
