At approximately 3:58p, a grassfire was reported on the 4200 block of Grant Road near Central Point.
This is currently a two-alarm incident with multiple metro fire agencies working the fire.
9:00p CURRENT EVACUATIONS: NONE

There are reports of at least one significant spot fire crews are dealing with as well. Avoid area if possible.
At 4:28p, ODF and JCFD3 estimates the fire to be 15-20 acres in size. Structural defense teams are arriving on scene.



4:39p Update: Grant Road is closed between Scenic Avenue and Taylor Road.
4:45p Update: Radio traffic indicates forward progress of the fire is halted. At least one vehicle is believed destroyed in this fire. Additional fire resources from Ashland arriving to assist with mop-up duties. Evacuation orders still active.
Final Update: All evacuations are lifted.
