White City, Oregon- Firefighters from Fire District 3 and the Medford Fire Department responded to a reported garage fire in the 7000 block of 27th Street in White City earlier this afternoon. The emergency call, received at approximately 2:09p, indicated that a resident was possibly trapped inside the attached residence.
Upon arrival, fire crews encountered a significant blaze engulfing the garage, with some fire spreading to the attic but thankfully not reaching the living areas of the home. Fortunately, all occupants had evacuated safely and were unharmed.
Firefighters immediately initiated efforts to bring the fire under control, working efficiently to contain the flames and prevent further spread.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek to understand the circumstances surrounding this incident.
