Teen Arrested in White City Fight That Sends Victim to ICU

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies responded to a distress call at the Lil’ Pantry parking lot on Crater Lake Highway last night at 11:06 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a victim lying on the ground with severe physical injuries, prompting immediate medical attention. The victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital by Mercy Flights ambulance and is currently in serious condition in the ICU.

The incident was reported as a possible physical fight, and despite the suspect not being present when deputies arrived, a swift response led to a breakthrough in the investigation. At 11:09 p.m., JCSO deputies successfully located and stopped the suspect’s vehicle on Agate Road. The suspect, identified as Clifton Michael Struble, 19, from Central Point, was apprehended without incident and taken into custody.

Clifton Michael Struble is now facing charges of fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct, and he has been booked and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

As the case unfolds, JCSO deputies continue to follow additional leads and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this time, officials say no further information is available to the public.
