Public Assistance Requested in Identifying Applegate Off-Roaders

The Oregon State Police is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the individuals and vehicles captured in provided images during an incident on the Little Applegate River. Despite the visible license plates, the plates have not been useful in the ongoing investigation.

The incident involved the observed vehicles driving up and down the Little Applegate River while winching themselves up and around impassable locations. It is important to note that the Little Applegate River serves as the last tributary before meeting the Applegate Dam and plays a vital role as an essential habitat for salmon.

Possible charges in connection with this incident may include Criminal Mischief II, Place Offensive Substance in Waters, and/or Committing Unlawful Damage with a Class II ATV.

To aid in the investigation, the Oregon State Police is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
