Here is the latest on this wildfire incident
Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) along with a number of other metro fire agencies are currently on scene of an approximate 8-10 acre wildfire.



Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) has reported conducting door-to-door evacuations near the area of Table Rock Rd and Latigo Lane.


ODF has additional resources heading to the scene. Including two helicopters.
Traffic is being impacted as well as authorities have closed E. Vilas Rd at OR62. Avoid area if possible.

UPDATE: Motorists should avoid the areas near Table Rock Road and Wilson Road due to emergency services response. Northbound traffic on Table Rock Road is currently closed at Wilson Road. Traffic closure points may change. Use alternate routes throughout the afternoon/evening.
ODF UPDATE: The forward progress of the fire has been stopped and all active fire has been extinguished. ODF’s structural partners are engaged in a structure fire of a shop, which has been putting up black smoke. Firefighters are remaining engaged. Air assist resources being released.
