“Mega-Corridor” Construction to Impact Foothill at Hillcrest Intersection Through July 18

The intersection of Foothill Road and Hillcrest Road will have traffic impacts now through Tuesday, July 18 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while contractors perform water and storm drain work.

Foothill Road will be open, but delays are expected with traffic being flagged through each leg of the intersection.

The work is part of the $62 million Foothill Road project (dubbed the Mega-Corridor) being constructed in part due to a $15 million Federal Build Grant received by the City of Medford. It improves Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road south to Hillcrest Road.

When complete at the end of 2026, the existing two-lane road will feature two lanes in each travel direction, along with turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and street lighting.

Project information and current construction schedule (subject to change) is available at: FoothillRoadProject.org.
