Statewide Alert Issued for Missing 11-Year-Old Boy

6/26 Update: The missing child has been found, no additional information was released by officials at this time.

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Child Welfare Division, asks the public to help find Chayton Owings, age 11, a child in foster care who went missing from Eugene on June 21. Chayton is believed to be in danger.

ODHS asks the public for help in the effort to find him and to contact 911 or local law enforcement if they believe they see him.

Chayton is suspected to be in the Eugene area, and may attempt to travel to Florence.
