On May 25, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding an adult male attempting to communicate with a minor female via an online source.
Based on the content of the messages that included explicit images and video of the male subject, the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the male who was identified as 25 year old, Layzon Tello.
On May 30, after Tello described what his intentions were, he wanted to meet the female at Riverside Park.
When Tello arrived at the park and exited his vehicle, members of the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office were in place to make contact with him.
Layzon Tello was arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Luring a Minor and Online Sexual Corruption.
At this time, authorities say no further details are being released.
A criminal complaint is only an accusation of a crime, and a suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
