Westbound McAndrews Ramps Temporarily Close as “Mega-Corridor” Work Continues

Westbound McAndrews Road on and off-ramps will close for construction beginning Tuesday, May 30 until July 7. Detours using Hillcrest, Sunrise and Springbrook Roads will be in place.

This closure will allow contractor Knife River Materials to build retaining walls and other ramp and intersection improvements with Foothill Road.

Eastbound McAndrews Road on and off-ramps are now open.

The work is part of the $62 million Foothill Road project, dubbed the “Mega-Corridor”, being constructed in part due to a $15 million Federal Build Grant received by Medford. It improves Foothill Road from Delta Waters Road south to Hillcrest Road.

When complete at the end of 2026, the existing two-lane road will feature two lanes in each direction, along with turn lanes, sidewalks, bike lanes and street lighting.
